The BluesBurners are really excited to have Marlin Weitzel backing us up. Originally from Ohio, Marlin moved to the EastBay where he played at clubs in Oakland and Berkeley for a couple of decades. After coming to the North Bay, Marlin joined with Michael Dolan in the legendary band The Moron Project. Thanks to his experience with every musical genre, Marlin can play anything you throw at him, and play it well. He really keeps the groove groovin. Like many musicians of his caliber, Marlin is in demand. He currently holds the beat for another local group Kitty & the Delta Hairballs.
