K.C.
K.C. Camarillo

K.C. has been performing musically since she was 5 years old. She spent her childhood summers performing at Woodminster Theater in Oakland where her grandfather John Falls was the director. Coming from a family of actors and singers (her dad is well-known Bay Area actor Frank Falls) K.C.has an easy and natural stage presence. Raised on Broadway musicals, jazz, and EastBay grooves, Kathy draws from a diverse and eclectic taste in music to write the BluesBurners original material with husband David. Sonoma County favorite, Sarah Baker, was Kathy's vocal coach and mentor. Sarah wrote the tune "Live Wire" on The BluesBurners CD "Roll With The Punches". K.C. hails from the Bay Area and still loves the city but now makes her home in Sonoma County. Her voice has been described as ranging from "silk to smoke",and "powerful, sultry". K.C.'s influences are many but include Bonnie Raitt, Chaka Khan, Ray Charles, Smoky Robinson and Lydia Pense.
